Tree service in Sienna.

Sienna (formerly Sienna Plantation) is one of the largest master-planned communities south of Houston — winding streets, lakes, and 25-year-old plantings now reaching the maintenance-heavy structural pruning stage. We work the Sienna villages regularly, often visiting the same homes annually.

Why local matters

Twelve years on the same streets.

Sienna Residential Association covers most of the community with consistent ARC requirements for tree work. The newer Sienna villages have updated rules — we track which subdivision uses which submission process. Sienna Plantation Boulevard's signature live oaks need consistent annual care to keep the streetscape intact.

Common trees in Sienna

Local knowledge

What Sienna trees are really up against.

Sienna is one of Missouri City's newer master-planned communities, with most homes built through the 2010s. The tree canopy here is mostly builder-planted and now 10–20 years old — in the structural-prune sweet spot where the work sets up the next 50 years. Sienna's HOA architectural review applies to tree removal visible from common areas; we submit COI documentation and architectural-review applications directly. The Fort Bend clay underneath Sienna behaves the same as Sugar Land's: expansive, aggressive, foundation-protective drainage matters. Sienna's larger lots (compared to inner-Loop neighborhoods) provide working room. Common species: live oak (builder default, dominant), crape myrtle (everywhere), southern magnolia, bald cypress around the community's water features, and Mexican plum.
