Service
Landscape Lighting Repair in Sugar Land, TX
Dark fixtures, dead zones, and chewed wire — any brand, fixed.
Low-voltage lighting fails quietly: one fixture dims, then a whole run goes dark, and suddenly the front of the house disappears at night. Most failures are simple — corroded connections, a cut wire from bed work, a tired transformer — and most systems are worth fixing rather than replacing. We service every major brand, including systems we didn't install.

Common questions
Landscape questions, answered straight.
Half my landscape lights are out — what's wrong?
When a group of fixtures fails together, the problem is almost always upstream of the fixtures: a cut or corroded wire run, a failed connection at the first fixture in the chain, or a dead tap on the transformer. In our beds, the usual culprits are shovel cuts from planting work, chewed wire, and old pierce-style connectors that corrode in Gulf Coast humidity. We test voltage from the transformer outward until we find the exact break — usually a one-visit fix with waterproof splices rather than new wire.
Can you repair a lighting system another company installed?
Yes — most of our repair work is on systems installed by someone long gone. Low-voltage components are standardized enough that we can service every major brand: Kichler, FX Luminaire, Vista, Unique, Volt, and the big-box kits too. If parts for an orphaned fixture no longer exist, we'll match a replacement in the same finish and beam spread rather than pushing you into a whole-system rebuild. And if the bones are good but it's all halogen, we can retrofit LED lamps in the same visit.
Is it worth fixing old halogen landscape lighting or should I replace it?
If the wire runs and transformer are sound, fix it — and convert the lamps to LED while we're there. The buried wire is most of an install's cost, and it doesn't care what lamp it feeds. Swapping halogen bulbs for LED retrofit lamps cuts power draw about 80%, ends the twice-a-year bulb changes, and often lets one transformer feed fixtures it couldn't handle before. Full replacement only makes sense when fixtures are crumbling, the wire was daisy-chained badly, or the transformer is undersized and cooked.
