Landscape Lighting Design & Installation in Sugar Land, TX
Your landscape works all day. Lighting lets it show off at night.
Low-voltage LED lighting turns a dark lot into curb appeal — moonlighting through a live oak canopy, path lights along the walk, a warm wash on the facade. We design at dusk, install brass and copper fixtures that survive Gulf Coast humidity, and size the transformer with room to grow.

How much does landscape lighting cost in Sugar Land?
Plan around $185 per fixture installed, which includes the fixture, buried wire runs, labor, and a professionally sized transformer spread across the system. A typical front-yard package — six to ten fixtures washing the facade, uplighting a tree or two, and lining the walk — lands between $1,500 and $3,000. Whole-property designs with back patio and pool areas run higher. The dusk demo visit is the difference-maker: you see the exact effect on your own house before committing to a single fixture.
What's the best way to light a mature live oak?
Two techniques, ideally combined. Uplighting — two or three ground-mounted fixtures at the trunk base, aimed into the canopy — shows off the structure live oaks are famous for. Moonlighting mounts small fixtures high in the tree aiming down through the branches, casting soft shadow patterns on the lawn that read as natural moonlight. Because we're arborists, we mount with stand-off hardware that doesn't girdle limbs, and we route wire so future trimming crews won't slice it — the two mistakes we most often fix in other installers' work.
LED vs. halogen — and will it raise my electric bill?
LED, without question, and the bill impact is trivial. A 10-fixture LED system draws roughly 40–60 watts total — about one old incandescent bulb — so running it five hours a night costs a couple of dollars a month. LEDs also last 40,000+ hours versus a couple thousand for halogen, which matters more than the energy math: no ladder trips to swap bulbs in tree-mounted fixtures. We install warm-temperature LEDs (2700–3000K) so the light stays inviting rather than blue-white parking-lot glare.
