Tree Removal in Sugar Land, TX
Safe takedowns from any size tree.
Some trees just have to come down — dead, diseased, structurally unsound, or in the wrong spot. We remove trees up to 80 feet using rigging, climbing, and crane support when access is tight. Full property protection — no rutted lawns, no broken fences.

How it works
Four steps, no surprises.

Hazard assessment
ISA arborist evaluates tree health and risk. Sometimes a heavy prune solves it without removal.

Sugar Land protects trees over 8" trunk diameter (4" for protected species). We handle the permit if needed.
03
Removal day
Crew, climber, and rigging gear on-site. Sectional takedown if access is tight, full fell if open ground.
04
Stump & cleanup
Cut to grade or grind below grade. All wood and debris hauled away same day.

Common questions
Tree questions, answered straight.
How much does tree removal cost in Sugar Land?
Most yard-tree removals run $450–$2,500 depending on size, access, and risk. A small ornamental in an open yard is $450–$700. A large oak near a house with crane access is typically $1,200–$2,500. We give a fixed written quote on-site after walking the tree.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Sugar Land?
Sugar Land's tree ordinance protects trees over 8" trunk diameter — and 4" for "protected species" (live oak, pecan, magnolia, and a few others). We check the species and size on the estimate, tell you whether a permit is required, and handle the application paperwork if it is.
Can you remove a tree close to my house?
Yes, that's most of what we do. Sectional rigging lets us take a tree down in pieces lowered by rope rather than felled. We also bring crane support for trees too tight to climb safely. Lawn boards protect the grass; fence padding protects the fence.
How long does tree removal take?
Most single-tree removals are a half-day to one day. Larger crane jobs are a full day. After takedown, the stump cut-to-grade takes another hour; full grinding adds half a day. Cleanup is included.
