Tree service in Tomball.
Tomball sits on the rural-suburban transition north of FM 2920 — bigger lots, more land, more native post oak country. The trees here grew up before the suburbs did. Some of the best post oak specimens we see anywhere are on Tomball-area lots.
Why local matters
Twelve years on the same streets.
Post oaks are particular — they're sensitive to construction damage, watering changes, and root compaction. Many Tomball homeowners moved into newer construction where the builder cleared too aggressively, and the surviving post oaks are now declining. We do honest assessments and recommend hospice care or removal when that's the right call.

Local knowledge
What Tomball trees are really up against.
Tomball is in northwest Harris County's piney woods transition zone, with significant pine canopy across most residential areas. Pine-specific maintenance dominates the work here: bark beetle monitoring, dead-wooding for pines that hold dead branches longer than oaks, and storm-prep pruning before hurricane season. The historic downtown Tomball area has a mix of older 1940s–60s homes on substantial lots with mature trees, including some of the largest live oaks and pecans in the area. Newer Tomball master-plans like Rose Hill and Pinehurst have builder-grade canopies still in training years. The Tomball area's lower elevation and clay-rich soils create localized drainage challenges during heavy rain events. Common species: loblolly pine (substantial), live oak, pecan, southern magnolia, and sweetgum. We respond to Tomball routinely and have ongoing relationships with several Tomball-area HOAs.
